New York: The Architectural Catalog Company, 1925. Original wraps. Very Good. Scarce, early monograph on the renowned Chicago architecture firm Holabird & Roche, circa 1925. Crisp and VG in its light-brown wrappers, with light chipping to the spine ends (1" of loss at the base) and mild creasing along the edges. Neat, small former owner signature as well (very lightly written) at the front panel's top-edge. Internally very clean, with no writing or markings to speak of. Dozens of crisp black-and-white photos throughout, showcasing much of the firm's commerical work up through the mid 20s --including regal hotels, golf clubs, stadiums, banks, etc.-- in the Chicago area. Folio, page after page of wonderful local, architecture-themed ads at the rear.
