Leather a bit scuffed at margins and along spine edges, spine darkened, else a Very Good, internally clean and sound copy in brilliant binding.

Collated complete with aquatint plates after "drawings made on the spot." The view of the Tomb of Abelard and Heloise bound as the frontispiece rather than facing p. 83 as called for in table of contents.
