A printed specimen of different wood engraved images and "SECOND HAND TYPES&?!!", ready for newspaper publishers and other jobbing printing. Each is priced with an item number. Some of the images include: a political cartoon depicting an "Inflationist Candidate" before and after being dumped in a barrel of tea by voters; a policeman ushering a prisoner into a jail cell with a billy club; a top hat; a horse getting a new shoe from a farrier; a pile of books; three wood cuts of birds stylized to resemble calligraphic drawings; and a complete headpiece for a theatrical program, complete with different allegorical figures and a bust of Shakespeare in the center. There is no maker or publisher listed, but a previous owner has suggested "C.T. Crampton" of Cortland, New York as a possible source/maker. Printed bifolium (7.5" by 5.25").
