Chicago, Illinois: Household Finance Corporation, 1967. Very good to near-fine. Lacking one booklet in the series ("Your Savings and Investment Dollar").. A set of personal finance education booklets, published to teach basic money management skills to American families by the Money Management Institute of the Household Finance Corporation. The HFC provided families across the country with mortgage and business loans until 2004, when it merged with HSBC following a fraud scandal. It published the present booklets in an effort to bolster its clientele's knowledge of money management, which would in turn help their bottom line. The booklets cover topics from general budging to children's spending, automobile budgeting, and food shopping. The booklets here are near-complete, lacking one volume out of the total twelve volumes ("Your Savings and Investment Dollar"). They are accompanied by a mail-in order form and advertising pamphlet measuring approx. 9" by 3.5" folded, with information about accompanying film strips for economic education courses.
