Includes 4 color-printed text illustrations and six printed in sepia. An attractive martially-themed ABC book that includes some Civil War veteran imagery; of all the illustrators of the period with initials "C.W." these most resemble the work of Constance White (illustrator of the "Billy Whiskers" stories), but we cannot provide a positive attribution.
