Posthumously-published biography of the late Dean of St. Paul's John Barwick (1612-1664) by his brother Peter (1619-1705). "[B]egun in 1671, [Vita] was clearly intended as more than simply a memoir of Barwick's brother; it is perhaps better understood as a statement of his own commitment and lifelong zeal for the restored Anglican church and its royal head" (Oxford Dictionary of National Biography).
