Very Good binding. 4to; in the publisher’s tan cloth with the seal of the Commonwealth of Virginia on the upper board, backed in brown cloth with titling in gilt; xxxii pages, [2], 254 pages, [1]; with portrait frontispiece of Richmond’s founder William Byrd, and illustrated with 94 black and white plates, some of which fold out, and five fold out maps, including the splendid facsimiles of Jed Hotchkiss’s Thirty Miles Around Richmond, Beer’s Map of a Portion of Richmond, 1876, and the Map Showing Territorial Growth of Richmond reproduced in color; all accompanied by extensive descriptive text by Mr. Weddell. The Edition is Limited to Six Hundred Copies, of which this copy is #555.~~There is a small amount of loss to the bottom of the spine; having said that this is quite a nice bright copy, with n omarks of any kind. (Haynes 20900). Very Good binding.
