Heigh" dated December of 1869.~~The account is given mixed comments in the Nevins bibliography: on the one hand it is considered there to an "uncritical ‘memorial'"; on the other and it is noted that it "contains many excerpts from pertinent documents". ~~ (Nevins II, 52).
