The crisp black-and-white photo measures 5" wide x 7 3/4" tall and shows the stamp "Photograph Copyright by Brown Brothers 1482 Broadway, N.Y." at the rear. It also has at the rear vintage handwriting that reads: "Kid McCoy (the Fox of the Ring) Once the World's Cleverest Hard-Hitting Light Heavy Weight". McCoy, whose real name was Norman Selby, also had an acting career on the big screen, was married 10 times and served time at Sing Sing for allegedly shooting a mistress of his.
