Ashville, 1890. First Edition. Letter. Very good. Two-sided letter written on National Women's Christian Temperance Union letterhead, dated July 24, 1890. Willard, replying to an unknown 'Kind Friend", expresses the honor to be invited and only declines due to the 'fixed fact that Spring and Summer trips are wholly filled up with State WCTU Conventions which are my first care and duty.
