Octavo (5-1/2" x 8-1/2") bound by Gray Parrot in quarter vellum and marbled paper, laid in a custom cloth clamshell box. The text was culled from ANIMATE CREATION by Rev. J. G. Wood, 1885. The illustrations consist of 26 wood engravings by Alan James Robinson with the names of the birds hand-lettered by Suzanne Moore. Copy #11 of 50 the Deluxe Edition (of a total edition of 231) printed by Harold Patrick McGrath and SIGNED by Robinson. This edition has an extra portfolio containing a suite of the 26 engravings, each SIGNED and numbered by Robinson. Prospectus laid in.
