Lengthy pastoral poem by a pseudonym within a pseudonym: Adalsio Metoneo, a.k.a. Gio. Antonio di S. Anna (who signs the dedication page), a.k.a. Orazio Pedrocchi. The title page is adorned with the pleasingly Arcadian device of the Arcadum Colonia Mariana: a ram on a grassy hill chewing on a branch.
