Duaci [Douai]: Typis Viduae Marci Wion, 1653. Very Good. Duaci [Douai]: Typis Viduae Marci Wion, sub signo Phoenicis, 1653. Small octavo (16cm.); full contemporary parchment, manuscript spine title, all edges stained blue; [16],238,[2]pp. (collated complete); woodcut initials and head- and tail-pieces. Parchment a bit dust-soiled, spine darkened, small worm-holes to binding and rather extensive worm-holing to early leaves of textblock, most notably title page, contemporary manuscript ownership inscription on title page crossed out but still mostly legible, textblock toned due to inferior paper quality, else a Very Good, sound copy overall.

Unrecorded hagiography of William X, Duke of Aquitaine (1099-1137), known as The Saint. The work was penned by a Samuel Buirette, a member of the Order of Friars Minor whose only other works included hagiographies St. Francis and St. Joan of Valois. Printed by the widow of Marcus Wion of the northern French city of Douai.

No copies of this edition in OCLC, Library Hub, or KVK as of October, 2024, though we find a 1648 edition printed by the Widow Wion under a slightly title.
