New York: MacMillan, 1921. Very Good binding. Six large 8vo. volumes; in the publihser’s blue cloth binding.~~The author’s personal copy of his 5-volume history of the University. Each volume contains the author’s bookplate and is lightly annotated in the text and/or on the inside back cover. Two copies of volume 5, which show different annotations. On the first endpaper of one copy Mr. Bruce has written in pencil, “Corrections by the author”. Volume 1 shows discoloration from a newspaper clipping and paperclip. The clipping is from the March 12, 1921 Evening Sun of Baltimore, MD reviewing the books. Very Good binding.
