Quarto (28cm.); slightly later brown morocco over marbled boards, gilt-lettered spine in six compartments, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers; [2]pp. + sixty leaves of engraved fashion plates (collated complete). Moderate wear to extremities with brief exposure at corners, leather spine ends scuffed with small loss at spine foot, dark offsetting of illustrations to facing blank pages, else a Very Good, attractive copy.

Pleasing collection of prints featuring 18th century French fashions for both male and female attire and coiffures. Auguste Etienne Guillaumot fils (1844-1890) was best known for his architectural views as well as his fashion plates (see the British Museum).
