Boards have moderate wear including faint whitish spotting/scuffing, small bumps to the corners and slight rubbing to the edges. Text blocks have slight wear with slight age toning to the edges. Frontispiece to both volumes with tissue guard to volume two. Two tiny ink marks to the tissue guard. Slight wear to both volumes including mild offsetting to the end papers and slight foxing interiorly. Repair to the front hinge and slight cracks to the rear hinge to volume two. Hairline defect to the gutter at several pages to both volumes. Faint damp staining to the head edge to the front head edges and tiny bump to the head fore corners to volume one. Minor erasure to the front end paper to volume two. Some pencil notations to volume two. Illustrated. Folded map at page two hundred ten to volume two.
