Board corners and spine ends lightly bumped with minor shelfwear, light dust-soiling and scuffing to covers. Bottom margin lightly discolored. Top stain shows light water marks but no staining. Pages clean. A Very Good or better copy in like dust jacket.

Burgess's translation and adaptation of the classic Rostand play. Kenneth Branagh used this translation for the 2008 BBC Radio 3 production with Jodhi May as Roxane and Tom Hiddleston as Christian.
