Jocey and Nancy wish to thank Nature for providing some of her resources today and throughout the season. With respect and joy we will partake of the varied life she shares with us on this Thanksgiving Day. We also thank Sarah Hale, editor of Godey’s Lady’s Book, for making this a national holiday so we can be together at this special time of year. [broadside]

[Martinsville, IN]: [Helaine Victoria Press], 1977. Broadside on stiff card, 8x9.25 inches, very good. Helaine Victoria Press, which took its name from the middle names of founders Jocelyn Helaine Cohen and Nancy Taylor Victoria Poore, highlighted an unusual mixture of lesbian feminist politics with fine letterpress technique, though it was perhaps most famous for its hundreds of postcards on themes of women's history. According to "Women Making History: The Revolutionary Feminist Postcard Art of Helaine Victoria Press" (p. 103-104), this broadside was printed to celebrate their first Thanksgiving in Indiana.
