Self-Standing Native American in Canoe Advertising Samoset Chocolates

A self-standing advertising card promoting the Samoset Chocolates brand, using (exploiting?) a stereotypical image of a Native American man in feathered headdress rowing a canoe. Includes two tabs to help the canoe stand upright, with the slogan "Chief of them all" on the upper tab. The brand released at least one other variation of this card, depicting instead a female Native American in a canoe. The brand also produced sturdier plaster models of similar images for display on shop counters. Chromolithographed a pre-die cut, this example has not yet been used or folded. Measures approx. 2" by 5
