Scogin by a Grandson of “Mary Moore” Marlin Texas, Nov. 4, 1887”~~This copy has wear and some stains; but is intact and complete.~~The author is James Moore Brown, who tells the remarkable story of his mother’s family, who were captured, and his mother Mary Moore, enslaved Native Americans; contains much regarding everyday life on the Frontier. Abb’s Valley is located in the very westernmost part of Virginia.~~. Good binding.
