"The story of amazing and intriguing facts brough to light by one man's search for his true identity. Through his investigation, [the author] discovers he was adopted shortly after birth by Joan Crawford, who he lived with for almost six months until his natural mother demanded his return." Needless to say, he has no actual memory of having lived with Joan, but he does relate his later interactions with her daughter Christina, and makes reference to her notorious book "Mommie Dearest."
