Signed Photograph and Letter

1958. Ephemera. Very Good +. A pair of items signed by Richard Neutra (1892-1970), the great Austrian-American modernist architect. A portrait photo of Neutra, c. 1958, artistically rendered on a wooden laminate panel (measuring 5 1/2" wide x 9" tall), firmly inscribed by Neutra in a dark marker. The other item is a signed, typed letter, a 1 pg. TLS on Neutra's business stationary (with its Silver Lake Boulevard address in Los Angeles), an invitation he respectfully turned down. The 8 1/2" x 11" letter is neatly folded into thirds and includes its original envelope, wih Neutra's return address. The letter is crisp and bright, with just a touch of wear along the edges.
