Bound in full brown speckled calf with red leather labels bearing gilt text to spines. Splitting to both joints on Part 1, with both boards significantly shaken; lesser wear to joints of Part 2. Both volumes with light plus bumping and rubbing to edges and corners of boards; moderate bumping and chipping to heads and tails of spines. Part 2 lacking "View of the Harbour of the Island of Ponza"; other plates present as described in Charles St. Barbe.
