Boards full bound in bright red cloth with gilt stamping to spine. Black endsheets. Jacket generally scuffed rubbed and bumped with superficial scratches to surface. Boards bumped at corners and spine ends with minor bowing inward to boards. Binding slightly cocked but firm. Top edge toned and dust soiled. Pages clean. A Very Good or better copy in like dust jacket.

Bookplate signed by Oates loosely laid in at half title. A collection of sixteen (16) short stories all of which first appeared in the Canadian literary magazine Exile.
