Original pictorial boards have mild rubbing wear to covers, moderate general soiling and shelving wear along extremities. Volume 1 missing most of spine, mull exposed; Volume 2 has full spine, cracked and peeling, front cover completely detached. Text blocks of both volumes age-toned, moderately dented along edges, and dust burned along head edges. Volume 1 contains loose Aubrey Beardsley frontispiece between front endpapers and has masking tape along front hinge, all hinges of both volumes are cracked. Volume 2 contains Aubrey Beardsley frontispiece adhesively affixed to front pastedown.
