Top edge gilt. Fore and bottom edges deckled. 12 tipped-in color plates. There are a couple of small faded stains on the spine, and there are a couple of thin soiled marks on the front board. The longer mark measures 2 inches long. Internally, the book is clean and bright. In a dust jacket, which is split in half. Housed in a slipcase, with rubbing to the edges, and a few small scractched areas to the side panel. Charming production of this literary classic that includes twelve tipped-in plates in full color from the renowned illustrator, Will Pogany.
