New York: Arno Press / Random House, 1971. Reprint of the original 1914 edition, being a facsimile of the original text with reproductions of 30 plates and large folding "General Map of Russia." Octavo. Tan cloth; dustjacket; 590pp; 54 unnumbered leaves of plates; five folding maps including large folding frontispiece "General Map of Russia"; text illus. Very Good copy, with a bit of foxing to boards and text block edges; in Very Good or better dustwrapper, quite bright, price clipped (as usual). The plates are reproduced in black & white and do not entirely reproduce the contents of the original 1914 edition, which contained more than 120 maps and plans. Includes an introduction by Harrison Salisbury.

Nice facsimile reprint of one of the best and hardest-to-find Baedekers – "a comprehensive introduction to the history and features of pre-Soviet domains and the tsarist sphere of influence in China" (from dustwrapper).
