Cream cloth, gilt titles and elaborate gilt decorations, top edges gilt. Translated into English from the fifteenth Italian edition by Maria Hornor Lansdale. Includes fold-out map and numerous photogravure plates by W.H. Gilbo. A tour of what was then called Constantinople, and we know today as Istanbul, illustrated with photogravures, by the Italian author who wrote a similar works on Morocco, Holland, etc.
