Edges rubbed, tears on edges of spine base causing bottom portion of backstrip to loosen a bit, margins of some pages lightly stained, hinges weakening, last page loose with some damage/loss along edges. 1868 Full-Leather. 630; 640. Full leather, decoratively debossed and stamped in gilt, all edges gilt, gilt turn-ins. Engravings of St. Patrick and other historical figures throughout. MacGeoghan's original history has here been combined with Mitchell's 1868 revision.
