Prospectus for a proposed students' monthly to be issued out of Knox College, "conducted solely by the undergraduates of the Institution." "It is difficult for us to define precisely the objects proposed in this undertaking, as we wish to benefit ourselves, and at the same time convey instruction and amusement to others; to benefit ourselves by publishing such essays, dissertations, narratives, scraps of poetry, moral tales, etc. etc. as we can from time to time." Though the majority of contributions would be written by the undergraduates, the prospectus promises to leave room for columns by the College's President, faculty, and alumni. Price: One dollar per copy.
No copies of this prospectus located in OCLC as of December, 2024, and we note that the first issue of Knoxiana was not published until 1856.
