Paris: Librairie Offenstadt, 1907. Book Club (BCE/BOMC). Original Wraps. Collectible; Very Good. Loving and bawdy turn-of-the-century tribute to French women, mostly in poses celebrating the flesh. 1907 1st edition, in its original pictorial wrappers. A nicely-preserved, VG+ copy, with slight foxing to the front and back panels. Internally immaculate, with all 36 wonderful chromolithographs bright and clean and with no soiling or markings of any kind. Beautifully illustrated--in rich, early 20th century color--by L. Le Riverend, whose celebration of all forms Rubenesque make this uncommon 1907 tribute to les femmes very naughty and fun. Text in French.
