[Cleveland, Ohio?]: St. John's Social Club, 1932. Good to very good. Dust soiling.. A small printed flyer for a "Depression Dance" held on the evening of Sunday, May 8th, 1932. Given by St. John's Social Club, with the following entertainment: Joe Kasper and His Harmonica Serenaders; Tap Dancers Icandella & Eckenrod; and music by the Jolly Broadcasters. Included a door prize. Such "Depression Dances" were popular events attended by the public to help forget their worries in the turbulent economic climate of the early 1930s. Some even included "dance marathons" with cash prizes only given to the last remaining couple. Printed flyer (9" by 6"), mounted on modern black construction paper.
