Promotional pamphlet for the Urban Military Academy's summer camp for the year 1911 held offsite their Los Angeles campus, at Coronado Beach. Features a photo of a young boy in military dress on the cover, as well as photos of a boy playing basketball within. Pupils who attend the camp will be given tuition "in any studies in which they are backward" in addition to swimming, tennis, golf, baseball, fishing, and other outdoor recreation. Limited to 20 cadets. Printed bifolium (5.75" by 3.25"), photo illustrated. Urban Military Academy was founded in 1905 as a private military institute for boys between the ages of six and fifteen. It also hosted summer camps in Yosemite.
