On the poster appears the cover art for the August 1897 issue of the humor magazine, with Sydney Anderson's illustration of a woman on a bicycle holding a parasol. Formerly know as "The Yellow Kid", and later re-titled as "Ainslee's Magazine", the publication briefly went under the name "The Yellow Book" from mid-1897 to early 1898. The August 1897 issue was the first issue published under this name. In good condition. A horizontal fold line is visible; there are a few small tears to the sides and bottom edge that do not affect the image. Scarce.
