New York, New York: W.R. Hearst Relief Fund, 1906. Very good. Toned with chipping/short tears, some spotting.. Printed program from a New York performance benefitting survivors of the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake, an infamous natural disaster in American history that killed over 3,000 people and destroyed the majority of the city. This performance was given under the auspices of the W.R. Hearst Relief Fund and took place on April 29th, 1906. Includes a list of music performed by Victor Herbert and his Orchestra in the first act, and the following comic/vaudeville/burlesque performers in the second act: Marie Dressler (in her Broadway prime, before film fame!!), Vesta Victoria, Peter F. Dailey and the "Dinah Girls", the Marvelous Fays, Grace Field and the Matinee Girls, Gus Edwards and the Postal Telegraph Boys, and ballet under the direction of Master Vincenzo Romeo. Bifolium measuring approx. 9.5" by 6.25", with diagrams of floor plan and promoting Sousa performance next month.
