Springfield, Massachusetts, 1889. Very good. Light toning. a spot or two, letter folds.. A trio of billheads for printers based in Springfield, Massachusetts, ranging in date from 1867 to 1889. The billheads are each finished in manuscript and record payments received for "Ballots", "Circulars", and "Pedigrees". The companies represented include: Joseph Miller, Book, Job and Card Printer; Barrett and Leonard Printers; and Springfield Printing and Binding Company. Each uses creative typography with a couple illustrations. One includes an interesting red stamp that depicts a smoking pipe on top of a pile of books; the smoke coming out of it reads "Printers". Largest measures approx. 7" by 8.5
