Illustrated billhead with a large wood engraving of the Matunuck Beach Hotel in Matunuck, Rhode Island at the turn of the century. Depicts a bustling scene with guests on the porches and horses and buggies traveling by. Also known by the name Carpenter's Matunuck Beach Hotel, it was run by W.R. Carpenter (dates unknown). The present billhead was used as an invoice, making note of the following purchases: wood; coal; [?] to Wak[e]field; and the rental of a cottage. Measures approx. 11.25" by 5.5
