Albany, New York: Boardman, Gray & Co, 1880. Very good. Light toning, spotting.. Printed broadside advertising "Lord's Patent Perch Coupling", a new invented mechanism for carriages/buggies. Includes a list of advantages of the mechanism for carriage makers (e.g. less wear and tear, more durable than other similar mechanisms). Interesting to note that the business began as a piano manufacturer; founded in 1837, it became known for making fine and quality instruments. It is unclear what prompted the company to branch out into the carriage making business. Measures approx. 14" by 7", verso blank.
