The event was held in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia on May 10th, 1876 ahead of the nation's highly anticipated centennial. Includes a list of music performed with lyrics, order of procession, and of course an address from the President of the United States, Ulysses S. Grant. Interesting to see which groups and individuals were included in the procession aside from the President, such as The Women's Centennial Committee, the famous architects Hermann J. Schwarzmann and Henry Pettit. Printed bifolium (11" by 8.5").
