Penned by psychologists, each booklet addresses either parent or child, and covers child development subjects such as identity development, regulating and understanding emotions, family dynamics, and developing morality and values. Note the emphasis on gender roles, and the nuclear family structure in these booklets. Provides an interesting window into how parenting guide have (and have not) changed over the years.
