Boards are bound in publisher's brown cloth, has stains, rubbing wear, bubbling along the front board, bending wear along the spine head/tail and fore corners, and spine, head edges and fore edges are significantly darkened. Textblock has splitting along the hinge of the front pastedown page and end-page, and from 147-169, stains and foxing on the pastedown pages and end-pages, a pen inscription from a previous owner on the second front end-page, minor creasing along the head corner of pages 36-40, stains on pages 122-123, pencil marks/writing on page 217 and the rear end-pages, and minor soiling on some pages throughout.
