[Maryland]: Association on American Indian Affairs, Inc, 1948. Reprint. Staplebound. Near Fine in Wraps. Reprint. Staplebound. Felix Solomon Cohen (July 3, 1907 – October 19, 1953) was an American lawyer and scholar who made a lasting mark on legal philosophy and fundamentally shaped federal American Indian law and policy, as a advocate of indigenous rights. In this work, Cohen responds to the question regarding indigenous human right and citizenship, despite an Act of Congress in 1924 for indigenous citizenship. He received an M.A. and Ph.D. in philosophy from Harvard University in 1927 and 1929, respectively. Cohen entered Columbia Law School in 1928 and graduated in 1931. Reprinted with permission from The American Indian, Summer 1944. Near fine, two small spots at lower corner on wrappers, else tight, bright, and unmarred. 10pp. Pamphlet size staplebound in self-wrappers.
