There is a bit of very scattered foxing.~~This copy collates complete with the frontispiece portrait of Butterfield taken from the Matthew Brady photograph being lightly foxed. A limited edition, this copy is #192 of 400 copies. Bud Robertson, in the section “Military Aspects--Soldier’s Life” in the Nevins bibliography, notes that “[t]his voluminous tribute contains a large number of letters written by and to Butterfield” [Nevins I, 66].
