Boards in brown leather. Wear to spine caps, edges, and corners, leather cracking on spines, mild scuffing. Text block has green-speckled edges. Tanning to endpapers, name in ink on front flyleaf, name in pencil on title page, age-toning and occasional foxing throughout; first volume has page fore edges torn away on pages 345-348, and damp stain pages 500-514; second volume has cracked hinges.
