The edges of the spine and boards are very subtly faded. The spine of volume 2 is mildly slanted. Both volumes in very good or better condition. In dust jackets with light toning and shelfwear. In the inside flaps of the jacket of volume 2 are slightly foxed. This translation shows Sankara swinging the exposition from the materialistic pradhana concept of the origin of the universe (the main target of his criticisms) towards the Brahma-sutra idea of an intelligent Creator.
