South Trenton, NY, 1850. General wear. Creases folds. There is a small hole near the top where it appears to have been hung by.. A program for the South Trenton Debating Club which featured sixteen (16) different acts, including the introduction. The acts appear to mostly be references to either historical or popular fiction characters as well as some important historical events or movements, and at times, based on the titles, take a humorous slant. Some of the acts are entitled: 'Despotism in America', 'Queen Catherine', 'Washington', 'Scene from Cataline', 'Wm. Tell', 'Robin Redbreast', 'Dumb Girl of Genoa', and 'Moses the Sassy'. Between every other act a selection of unnamed music was played. The program features a decorative filigree border. Single page, single sided. Measures 12" x 6 1/4
