Book condition: Good with lightly chipped edges, a few creases, and soiled extremities. Spine ends are corners are bumped. Pages are toned, but unmarked besides a few stamps. Fold-out maps are present. The fourth volume, 1876, has a wrinkled spine and cracked joints.. In gray folding box. A few volumes have mylar covers. All fit comfortably in the custom box.
