Original dance program for a [circa 1935] performance by "Miriam Winslow and Her Dancers," signed by Miriam Winslow, and eight(8) other members of her dance company: Barbara Benzaquin, June MacLaren, Jacqueline Magrath, Christine Maynard, Wendolyn Bever, Olive Cousens, Mary Morse, and Mary Campbell (the pianist). Rear cover has faint crease on lower spine, else a near fine, bright copy. Original dance program for a [circa 1935] performance by "Miriam Winslow and Her Dancers," signed by Miriam Winslow, and eight(8) other members of her dance company: Barbara Benzaquin, June MacLaren, Jacqueline Magrath, Christine Maynard, Wendolyn Bever, Olive Cousens, Mary Morse, and Mary Campbell (the pianist). Miriam Winslow originally trained with Ted Shawn, and then moved to Europe, to train under Mary Wigman and Harold Kreutzberg. In 1929 she began the Miriam Winslow School of Dance, in Boston. In 1935 she joined Foster Fitz-Simons (a member of Ted Shawn's all-male dance group), and they toured the United States, and globally, until 1943, when Winslow settled in Buenos Aires. She stayed in Buenos Aires, performing and teaching, until 1961, when she returned to the U.
