Stories include Francesco Soave's "I Fantasmi Notturni" (Night Ghosts); Luigi Bramieri's "Il Buon Diavolo" (The Good Devil); Domenico Maria Manni's "La Sepolta Viva" (Buried Alive); as well as works by Niccolo Machiavelli and Boccaccio and others.
