Boards bound in open-weave cream cloth with black stamping to spine and cut-out windows on boards of hard plastic showing shield woodcuts on free endsheets. Some minor soiling to spine and pencil to flyleaf. Housed in black-paper wrapped slipcase with minor bumping to corners. A Near Fine copy of Dashiell Hammett's oldest daughter's short story in a Near Fine slipcase. Signed by the publisher and likely illustrator, based on the signatures, D'Ambrosio and the printer Mundell.
